Having been opened one year after the foundation of ÝSFALT, Ümraniye Asphalt Factory has been producing asphalt for the roads of Istanbul for 20 years. The factory that is increasing its production capacity every year had a production capacity of 150 ton/hour until 1997 increased its total production capacity up to 235 ton/hour with the introduction of 85 ton plant.
Ümraniye Asphalt Factory that keeps on increasing its production capacity with new investments since 1995 also houses the largest emulsion production plant of Turkey. This plant that was built in 1997 has a production capacity of 25 ton/hour.
In the factory where recycling project ÝSFALT came became a reality, the recycling plant has a capacity of 42 ton/hour.
The asphalt plant is equipped with jetplus (giant trouser system type) filter, the most modern filter system, and is electronically controlled. Due to this system which is environmentally and human friendly, ÝSFALT received ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certificates. Ümraniye Factory uses natural gas, the clean and safe energy source.
