In line with the rapid increase in the number of vehicles entering the traffic circulation in Turkey and across the World, the needs of the drivers are increasing. In Istanbul, one of the most significant cities of the world, the expectations related to the quality of the roads increase every year. The drivers ask for comfortable and safer roads, while the road makers target the roads resistant to permanent deformation and a longer service life.

Having observed these aspirations of the drivers and road builders, İSFALT also became a company which engages with asphalt paving apart from being an asphalt manufacturing company in 1995.

The company which uses new finishers (asphalt pavement machine) with electronic sensors for the purpose of asphalt paving upgraded the quality level of the roads and contributed to the comfort of drive in the roads of Istanbul to a remarkable extent in the field of asphalt paving.

In the roads where asphalt shall be laid, the current situation is first detected by the map survey teams and the geometry of the road is re-arranged according to this detection (length and width inclinations etc.). According to the road geometry re-arranged by the map department, the old coating is removed by the asphalt scraping vehicle.

After building the rain water lines and drains required according to the new geometry, asphalt is paved according to the length and width inclinations that have been re-arranged.

Finally, the grills and manholes remaining below the road level are elevated, thereby, upgrading the drive comfort.
