Ýkitelli Asphalt Plants started production by transfer of the asphalt construction site of Küçükçekmece Municipality with a single asphalt plant that was in operation since 1996 but was in idle condition in terms of its surrounding and physical conditions (administrative building, surrounding walls, illumination etc.) to ÝSFALT by way of leasing as per a protocol signed in 2006. The enterprise was modernized, and with the addition of a second plant, started actual production in the summer of 2006.
The technical and environmental deficiencies of the plants were corrected after the factory was acquired by ÝSFALT. It runs its operations as a modern and well-kept-for enterprise. In this context, all applications were filed to correct the legislative deficinecies related to the existing factory and the certification in this field was completed.
Since the asphalt plant is equipped with the most modern filter system containing jetplus (giant trouser system type) filter and electronic control, no harmful gas or particle waste is generated or no bad odor is emitted. Like in the remaining four asphalt production plants, the factory uses only natural gas as fuel and main power supply.
