Focusing on the research and development studies, ÝSFALT conducts these studies in collaboration with the universities, TÜBÝTAK, KGM (Directorate-General of Land Roads). The company is studying on the new asphalt techniques within its R&D department and offers the outcome of these studies to the society. ÝSFALT received the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025, re-arrangement of the TS EN 45001 standard indicating the accreditation of the laboratory services. Owing to this document, the results of all experiments related to asphalt are now officially recognized. ÝSFALT cooperates with American Asphalt Institute which is a leading institute in the international arena in terms of Research and Development. ÝSFALT is the one only enterprise that is the member of this institute in Turkey. The Asphalt Institute is an independent organization based in the USA that acts as an association of the bitumen, asphalt and by-product companies. The Asphalt Institute runs its operations in the fields such as increasing the asphalt quality and efficiency, conducting engineering studies, coming up with solutions, organizing training activities, supporting the affiliated companies in technical terms.
