| ÝSFALT: THE POWER THAT CARRIED THE TECHNOLOGY TO THE ROAD One of the economical enterprises of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Istanbul Asphalt Plants Industry and Trading Inc. (ÝSFALT), was founded in 1986 in order to meet the asphalt requirements of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and the municipalities of counties. Continually growing in its industry since 1986 based on the experience of the years and new technology, ÝSFALT managed to find a place for itself among the top 500 industrial companies of Turkey. ÝSFALT which aims to serve in line with constantly changing structure and increasing needs of Istanbul, one of the metropolitans of the world, continues its efforts for the purpose of creating the modern face of Istanbul. ÝSFALT which reaches new achievements every year with its rapid growth and team work has made its voice heard in Turkey and Europe. The company became number 10 in the public companies and number 255 in general based on the Top 500 Industrial Companies of Turkey with its attacks and production share. Running its production in five factories, ÝSFALT meets 20% of Turkey's asphalt production and 70% of the asphalt need of Istanbul. The company really deserves to be called "Gigantic" with its capacity of 1.900 ton/hour and annual production of 3.500.000 ton. ÝSFALT that makes no concession from the production quality leads the asphalt industry due to the collaborative projects with the universities and TÜBÝTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and its corporate culture open to the innovation and competition. |
